  • Job Overview:

    As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics of fire & security jobs across the south of England, from beginning to end. This will primarily include accepting orders and booking dates for works to take place; managing a workforce of ~20 field-based engineers; organising work schedules for all engineers; purchasing parts and organising delivery routes for our drivers.

    Core Responsibilities Include:

    • Completion of commissioning certificates.

    • Fire alarm monitoring statements.

    • Full training on our field service management system, Simpro, will be provided in-house. Previous Simpro experience is preferable.

    • Liaising with various departments of our administration team; PPM, Quotes, Service Desk, etc.

    • Maintaining customers’ satisfaction with our level of service.

    • Managing a workforce of ~20 field-based fire and security engineers.

    • Organising routes for our delivery drivers.

    • Organising work schedules for all engineers, to ensure an even workload.

    • Oversee the logistics of 200+ jobs per-month, with potential values of up to £100k, from order to invoice.

    • Projecting financial figures.

    • Raising purchase orders.

    • Receiving and allocating call-out requests.

    • Risk and method statements.

    • The checking of cause and effects matrixes.

    Who We’re Looking For:

    • Highly familiar with technology-based administrative interfaces, such as Microsoft office suite.

    • Previous experience in the fire and security industry is preferred.

    • Proven experience in operations management, or a position of equal responsibility.

    • Well-developed communication skills, and professionalism.

    Schedule:

    • 8-Hour shifts, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:30AM - 16:30PM)

    • Hybrid working (Optional).

    • Overtime availability.

  • Job Overview:

    As a fire alarm engineer, you will be attending any number of our sites across greater London, Kent, and Essex to provide high-quality work, ranging from routine maintenance to emergency callouts.

    Who We’re Looking For (requirements):

    • Proven experience as a certified fire alarm engineer, with strong mechanical knowledge of the installation, diagnostics, and repairing of fire alarm systems. (essential.)

    • Full UK drivers’ license (essential.)

    • Well-developed communication skills.

    • Previous experience with field-to-office communication and collaboration.

    • Capability to complete essential documents, such as job completion sheets, completely and without consistent errors.

    • Experience with field service management systems such as JobLogic, or Simpro (preferred, but not essential.)

    • Clear Enhanced DBS certification (all checks are provided as part of our onboarding process.)

    Core Responsibilities Include:

    • Conducting system analysis and testing to verify functionality and safety performance.

    • Collaborate with construction teams to oversee installation of fire protection systems on-site, ensuring adherence to design specifications.

    • Utilise hand tools, power tools, and electrical experience to assist in the assembly and maintenance of fire safety and security equipment.

    • Perform site inspections to assess existing systems and recommend improvements or modifications.

    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system designs, modifications, and testing procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.

    Schedule:

    • 40 hours per-week full-time contract, including weekends.

    • Overtime availability.

    • Call-Out Rota: Agreement to attend emergency call-out works on a weekly-rotating schedule.

    Job Type:

    • Full-Time contract.
